ZC22-8: Zoning Map Amendment: Idaho Department of Transportation
C-3 (Highway & Commercial Services) to MUE-C (Mixed Use Employment)
Project Description:
The Idaho Department of Transportation (ITD) has requested a change in base zoning from C-3 (Highway & Commercial Serves) to MUE-C (Mixed Use Employment for their property located in the City of Driggs Area of Impact at 1549 N HWY 33. The purpose for the requested zone change is to allow for the development of employee housing. The application was reviewed by the Planning & Zoning Commission during a public hearing on January 11, 2023, 6:30 PM at Driggs City Hall, where they made recommendation of approval with conditions. City reviewed the application during a public hearing at their 2/7/23 meeting, where they made a recommendation of approval with conditions to the Board of County Commissioners. During a public hearing, the board of County Commissioners will make a final decision on the application.
