Water Line Service Survey
The Driggs public water system is seeking customers to participate in the Safe Drinking Water Act Lead and Copper Rule monitoring requirements. The purpose of this program is to identify and verify the materials of water service lines in your home to ensure compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency standards.
What is the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR)?
The Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) are updated EPA regulations designed to reduce lead and copper levels in drinking water. They require water systems to identify and replace lead service lines and conduct comprehensive testing to protect public health.
Why are we doing this?
By identifying the materials in your service lines, we can take appropriate measures to prevent lead and copper contamination in your drinking water, safeguarding your health and that of your community.
Your Participation
If you received the survey letter in the mail from the City of Driggs, your home has been chosen as a potential survey site. To verify compliance, please complete the survey located below about your plumbing and service lines. If you need assistance, we are available to help.
After reviewing the completed survey, if your home meets the Lead and Copper Rule sampling site criteria, we may contact you for further participation in water sampling. Your cooperation is vital for maintaining safe drinking water standards.
All survey responses must be received by October 4, 2024.
