The hearing items are as follows:
Public Hearing ZC25-2: Alexandria Condos
City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the Zone Map Amendment application for the rezone of a 10-acre parcel located on E. Ross Ave. which is currently zoned RS-7—Single & Two Family Residential and IX—Industrial Mixed Use. The majority of the subject property is currently zoned RS-7—Single & Two Family in which Residential Multi-Family and Commercial uses are not allowed. A small portion is zoned IX, which allows for a variety of industrial, commercial, and residential uses. The application proposes NX—Neighborhood Mixed Use and RM-2—Residential Multi-Family zoning designations in order to increase density options including attached and multi-family residential units and neighborhood scale commercial uses. A neighborhood meeting for the proposal was held on February 18, 2026. The proposal was considered by the Planning & Zoning Commission (PZC) during a public hearing on April 8, 2026, where the PZC ultimately made a recommendation of conditioned approval to City Council. City Council will make a final decision on the application. Further information regarding this application can be found online here: driggsidaho.org/projects/zc25-2
