The City of Driggs, the Teton County Sheriff’s Office (“TCSO”) and the Teton County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney (“TCPA”) are pleased to announce the completion of an agreement for enhanced law enforcement services (the “Agreement”) within the city limits of Driggs.

This Agreement is the product of many months of discussions and negotiations between TCSO Sheriff Clint Lemieux, TCPA Prosecuting Attorney Bailey Smith, Driggs Mayor Hyrum Johnson, and the new Driggs City Attorney, Sam Angell.  The Agreement formally went into effect on October 6, 2021.  A copy of the agreement is linked here.
Pursuant to the Agreement, TCSO will provide several enhanced law enforcement services in Driggs. This includes 20 hours of dedicated patrol time, enforcement of Driggs city ordinances, increased visibility of police presence, increased traffic enforcement in areas with known traffic issues, and community crime prevention undertakings.  TCSO will also provide periodic reporting to Driggs on the services performed.  In exchange for the enhanced services provided under the Agreement, Driggs is to pay TCSO $45,000 annually.
Residents living in Driggs are encouraged to contact TCSO to report any traffic complaints, parking complaints, and other violations which may be occurring within city limits.
TCSO looks forward to an ongoing partnership with the City of Driggs and collaboration for the benefit of the citizens of Driggs as well as County citizens passing through or engaging in activities within the city.
