A Neighborhood Meeting will be held on July 6, 2026 from 4PM-6PM

The applicant and city staff will be available from 4pm to 6pm to discuss the project. Please stop by at your convenience during this time.

PROJECT SUMMARY: The applicant is seeking a zone change for parcel RPA00000261370, a 1.87-acre parcel located on E. Ross Ave., from RS-7: Single-Family & Two-Family to RM-2: Residential Multi-Family. The applicant's stated intention for the zone change is to create multi-family housing in the form of fourplexes, which they may seek to condominiumize. The current RS-7 zoning is primarily intended to accommodate single-family detached houses with a minimum lot size of 7,000 square feet. Additional building types allowed in RS-7 include backyard cottage, cottage court, duplex and attached house. The proposed RM-2 zoning is intended to accommodate a variety of residential options including single-family, two-family, and multi-family. The applicant has stated the intent to create a multi-family residential development, likely four-plex buildings containing condos or apartments, however, no development plans were provided at the time the zone change application was submitted. Full application materials and information on the decision criteria used for zone changes can be found at https://driggsidaho.org/projects/zc26-1
