Pursuant to established procedure, Idaho Statutes, and the Emergency Declarations issued by the Mayor of Driggs and Governor of Idaho, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Driggs City Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at Driggs City Hall, with the opportunity to listen via remote broadcasting, on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 6:30pm.
Due to the declared State of Emergency existing within the City of Driggs, the State of Idaho, and the USA, and under the emergency powers granted within Idaho Statutes, and pursuant to proclamations issued by the Governor of Idaho, and Emergency Declarations issued by the Mayor and ratified by the City Council of Driggs, this meeting may be conducted under alternative rules and procedures, or the meeting may be continued to another date or time by posting notice on City Hall doors, and on the City website noticing the continuance. The most current information on accessing the meeting will be posted on the City website at www.DriggsIdaho.org , and on the doors of City Hall. In person attendance at City meetings may be limited to allow for proper distancing in accordance with current CDC and health safety recommendations. Face-coverings may be required at all City facilities.

The purpose of this hearing is to consider an application for annexation into the City of Driggs with a zoning designation of PUD-T-R of approximately 38 acres and the de-annexation of approximately 3 acres to be designated with AOI ADR-2.5 zoning. All subject areas are within the Tributary Planned Unit Development. The subject property to be annexed is within the Area of City Impact and is currently zoned A-20 (Agricultural 20-Acre Minimum Lot Size) and ADR-2.5 (2.5-Acre Average Density). The applicant has submitted a concurrent application for Subdivision Concept Plan, which will be contingent on annexation.Â

Review Criteria & Process:
Driggs Planning & Zoning Commission will evaluate the application based on conformance with the Driggs Land Development Code, Driggs Comprehensive Plan, and Idaho State Statute.  Following Driggs Planning & Zoning Commission’s recommendation, the Driggs City Council shall hold a public hearing and make a final decision on the annexation. Â
Information pertinent to this application is available for review at Driggs City Hall. Related documents can be found on the City’s website at www.driggsidaho.org/projects  and a staff report will be posted prior to the hearing.

Written comments received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, will be included in the staff report. Comments can be submitted by mail at Driggs City Hall P.O. Box 48, Driggs, Idaho 83422, by fax to 208-354-8522, emailed to publichearingcomments@driggsidaho.org or by voicemail by calling 208-354-2362 ext. 100. Comments received after January 4th and before noon on the day of the meeting can be read into the record during the meeting. Comments will also be heard during the public hearing by those attending the meeting in person at City Hall. There will be no opportunity for remote commenting during this meeting.Â
