Public Hearing: 5/6/25 City Council

Driggs City Council will hold a public hearing at 60 S. Main St. in Driggs City Hall and virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 6:00 pm. There will be opportunity for the public to comment on public hearing items. Information on accessing the meeting and the agenda is available at DriggsIdaho.org and at City Hall. The hearing and meeting items are as follows:

Public Hearing ZC24-7: Victor Mountain Retreat—Zone Map Amendment
The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider a proposed zone map amendment application submitted by Harmony Design & Engineering on behalf of Victor Mountain Retreat, LLC. The applicant submitted a Design Review Application for a 69-Room Hotel, along with a Zone Change application for the 7.24-acre parcel on State Highway 33, north of Tributary Drive and across from Rodeo Drive. Zoning for the parcel is currently RM-2-Residential Multi-Family. The Zone Change application proposes CC - Commercial Corridor zoning. The item was considered by the Planning & Zoning Commission during a public hearing at the March 12, 2025 meeting. The Commission unanimously voted to recommend a conditioned approval of the application to City Council. Public Hearing ZC24-6: 483 E. Little—Zone Map Amendment
The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider a proposed zone map amendment application submitted by Ethan Thrasher on behalf of Against the Grain, LLC. The applicant is requesting a zone map amendment from RS-7 to NX Neighborhood Mixed Use for their 0.2-acre parcel located at 483 E Little Ave for the purpose of constructing an additional dwelling. The item was considered by the Planning & Zoning Commission during a public hearing at the March 12, 2025 meeting. The Commission unanimously voted to recommend a conditioned approval of the application to City Council. Review criteria, process and documents pertaining to these applications are available on the corresponding website address listed above. A staff report will be available the week prior to the meeting date. Zoom instructions and access links are available on the City Council Meetings page at www.DriggsIdaho.org .

Properly submitted comments (must include the project name or file number, respondents name, address and city, and position: in favor/neutral/opposed) received by 5 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 will be included in the staff report. Verbal comments can also be presented during the public hearing, by individuals attending in person and via Zoom. Verbal public comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker. The applicant's testimony is limited to 15 minutes. The City is not responsible for technical difficulties.
