Bates Rd Annexation - City Initiated

The 121.3-acre subject property is proposed for annexation. The property is to be used for open space, recreation, and public use, including expansion needs of the Driggs Waste Water Treatment facility onto the 32-acre parcel in the westernmost expansion area. The proposed zone for the area, once annexed, is REC Recreation.
A neighborhood meeting was held on March 19, 2024, at City Hall from 3:45 pm - 5 pm.

The Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing on on April 10, 2024 at 6 p.m. The Commission ultimately made a positive recommendation regarding the zone change and the annexation.

City Council will conduct a public hearing on the matter on May 7 at 6pm at Driggs City Hall.
