Public Comment Procedures

You may provide verbal comments during the public hearing or submit written comments or a voicemail in advance. The City of Driggs will not accept written materials or handouts during any public hearing. Written comments and voicemails must be received by the deadline listed in the public notice to be included in the associated staff report.

Verbal comments
Verbal public hearing comments will be heard at the appropriate time during the public hearing from in-person attendees and by those participating via Zoom.

Verbal public hearing comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker. The applicant's testimony is limited to 15 minutes.

In person: Attend the meeting at the location listed in the public notice
Via Zoom: When the public comment period begins click the raise hand ✋ icon at the bottom of the Zoom screen. If calling in by phone dial *9 to raise your hand.
                   
How to Submit Public Hearing Comments in Advance
Written or voicemail public hearing comments must be submitted in advance and received prior to the deadline listed on the public hearing notice in order to be included in the associated staff report.
Important: To ensure your comment is properly routed for inclusion in the staff report, submit it using one of the designated public hearing comment methods listed below. Comments submitted through other channels may not be received or included in the staff report by the deadline.

Comments must include:
• Project name or file number (found on the Active Projects webpage and on the public notice )
• Your name, address and city
• Your position: for, neutral, or opposed
