PROJECT SUMMARY: The applicant, Valley of the Tetons Library, is requesting a zone change for parcel RPA00140050070, a 0.57-acre parcel located at the corner of North Main St. and E. Harper Ave., from Recreation (REC) to Civic (CIV). The stated purpose of the zone change is to accommodate development of a new public library. The current REC zoning is intended to accommodate recreational uses, while the proposed CIV zoning is intended to accommodate civic and public uses. The proposed Community Cornerstone Project would include library services, community meeting and gathering spaces, makerspace programming, educational resources, technology access, cultural programming, and workforce development opportunities.
