ribbon cut at Primrose Park

Many are already familiar with the popular Pickle Ball Courts, but the City's newest park has so much more to offer. Mayor August Christensen is proud to officially announce the generous donation of Primrose Park by neighboring private residential community, Tributary. This beautiful new public space is a gift that will benefit the community for generations to come.

The creation of Primrose Park was designed and funded by Tributary to create a larger central park for the community instead of the previous smaller recreation areas scattered on the east side of the development. It's new location and amenities are also part of a compromise for the neighborhood shifting interior roads to private traffic only.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony held on September 25th, 2024, was performed by Driggs Mayor, August Christensen and Tributary General Manager, Ulla Rasche, marking the official transfer of ownership. Primrose Park is now a city asset that will serve as a place for residents and visitors to enjoy nature and outdoor recreation in the heart of Driggs.

Driggs Mayor August Christensen commented “I am so excited that Driggs has a new public park! Many thanks to Tributary for making it happen. I love seeing so many various users at Primrose Park already, from kids to seniors and everyone in between.”

Tributary General Manager Ulla Rasche shared, "What makes Driggs truly one-of-a-kind is its tight-knit community, love for the outdoors, and the strong support neighbors show each other. We're honored to be part of this unique place, and Tributary is committed to supporting the community and helping create more opportunities for everyone to enjoy outdoor recreation and activities.”

Primrose Park is open to the public, featuring a playground, basketball courts, pickleball courts, a soccer field, a sand volleyball court, walking paths, green spaces, and areas for relaxation and outdoor activities. The City of Driggs looks forward to seeing residents and visitors alike enjoy this new community treasure.
