Pursuant to established procedure and Idaho Statutes NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Driggs Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings at 60 S. Main St. in Driggs City Hall and virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 6:00 pm. There will be opportunity for the public to comment on public hearing items. Information on accessing the meeting and the agenda is available at DriggsIdaho.org and at City Hall. The hearing and meeting items are as follows:

 

Public Hearing ZC24-6: 483 E. Little Ave - Zone Map Amendment

The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a proposed zone map amendment application submitted by Ethan Thrasher on behalf of Against the Grain, LLC. The applicant is requesting a zone map amendment from RS-7 to NX Neighborhood Mixed Use for their 0.2-acre parcel located at 483 E Little Ave for the purpose of constructing an additional dwelling.  Full application materials and information on the decision criteria used for zone changes can be found at www.driggsidaho.org/projects/zc24-6 .

 

Public Hearing ZC24-7: Victor Mountain Retreat - Zone Map Amendment

The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a proposed zone map amendment application submitted by Harmony Design & Engineering on behalf of Victor Mountain Retreat, LLC. The applicant submitted a Design Review Application for a 69-Room Hotel, along with a Zone Change Application for the 7.24-acre parcel on State Highway 33, north of Tributary Drive and across from Rodeo Drive. Zoning for the parcel is currently RM-2-Residential Multi-Family. The Zone Change application proposes CC-Commercial Corridor zoning. How to Review, Access, & Submit Comment

Review criteria, process and documents pertaining to these applications are available on the corresponding website address listed above. A staff report will be available the week prior to the meeting date. Zoom instructions and access links are available at www.driggsidaho.org/pzmeeting .

 

Instructions for submitting a public hearing comment are available online at DriggsIdaho.org/public-hearing.  Comments received by 5 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025 will be included in the staff report. Verbal comments can also be presented during the public hearing by individuals attending in person and via Zoom. Verbal public comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker. The applicant's testimony is limited to 15 minutes. The City is not responsible for technical difficulties.
