The Driggs Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings at 60 S. Main St. in Driggs City Hall and virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 6:00 pm. There will be opportunity for the public to comment on public hearing items. Information on accessing the meeting and the full meeting agenda is available at DriggsIdaho.org and at City Hall. The public hearing items are as follows:
Public Hearing SUB25-8: Altitude Business Park (fka Victor Mountain Retreat)—Preliminary Plat The Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the Preliminary Plat application for Altitude Business Park, a 7.24-acre parcel (RPA5N45E236602) located just to the south of Buffalo Junction and True Value Hardware Store. The application proposes creating 10 lots from the existing single parcel, resulting in 1 lot for a hotel, 8 commercial pad lots or parking, and 1 right-of-way. A neighborhood meeting for the proposal was held on November 6, 2025. A concurrent application for Design Review of a 69 room Cobblestone Hotel on lot 2 of the northern portion of the subject property is under review by staff. A zone change from RM-2 (Residential Multi-Family) to CC (Commercial Corridor) was approved with conditions by City Council in May 2025. Public Hearing AMD26-2: Land Development Code Amendments- Short-Term Rentals
The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to review proposed text amendments to the City of Driggs Land Development Code. These amendments ensure compliance with state law (2026 Idaho House Bill 583) by aligning City of Driggs zoning with state mandated definitions for short-term rentals (STRs) prior to the July 1, 2026 effective date. The proposed text amendments remove existing land use restrictions by re-classifying “short-term rental use” as “non-transient residential use” across all residential zoning designations, ensuring STRs are permitted in all residential zoning districts and eliminating them as a limited use. The proposed changes will modify Article 10.3.4 (Short-Term Rental) in its entirety to conform with state statute.. The proposed amendments will be reviewed for general conformance with Idaho State law and the purpose and intent of the Land Development Code, as well as the goals and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan.. The Planning & Zoning Commission will make a recommendation to City Council, who will then consider the proposed amendments and ordinance during a future public hearing and make a final decision.

Instructions for submitting a public hearing comment are available online at driggsidaho.org/public-hearing . Comments received by 5 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2026 will be included in the staff report. Verbal comments can also be presented during the public hearing, by individuals attending in person and via Zoom. Verbal public comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker. The applicant's testimony is limited to 15 minutes. The City of Driggs will not accept written materials or handouts during any public hearings. Written public comments were due on the date shown in the legal notice for the public hearing. The City is not responsible for technical difficulties.
