Annual Review & Amendments to the Land Development Code

AMD22-2

Planning staff is proposing a number of amendments to the Land Development Code . Amendments include recommendations from the adopted Transportation Plan and adopted Comprehensive Plan , and other general clarification items.

The Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council held a work session on the topic on August 2. A Staff Report was prepared for that meeting

The Planning & Zoning Commission had scheduled a public hearing for September 14, 2022 at 6:30pm, however the item was continued (rescheduled) to the October 12 meeting. A Staff Report has been posted which shows all of the proposed amendments. During this meeting, the P&Z Commission recommended that most of the suite of amendments be forwarded to City Council for approval, with the exception of the proposed amendments in Chapter 13, which should continue to be workshopped.

A public hearing with City Council will is scheduled December 6, 2022, at 6:00pm. A link to the staff report will be provided on the City Council Meetings Page the Friday prior to the meeting.
