PA25-2 Insignificant Plat Amendment

SUMMARY: An application has been submitted by Norther Pines Engineering, on behalf of the owner Driggs Acquisition, LLC, for an Insignificant Plat Amendment to Lot 1, Block 5 of Valley Centre II (parcel RPA04900050010), located at the northeast corner of Valley Centre Drive and Moraine Court. The amendment proposes to square off the existing rounded southwest property corner to align with adjacent parcels and facilitate the development of an employee housing cottage court.

The amendment does not change the number of lots, alter open space, or impact connectivity or utility layout. The proposal has been reviewed by City Planning, Building, and Public Works staff. A public pedestrian easement along the sidewalk has been identified as a requirement and will be provided by the applicant.

APPLICABLE PLANS & ORDINANCES: Art. 14.13.4 of the Land Development Code (LDC) for Driggs Idaho Adopted by Ordinance 374-16, Effective 9/29/2016; Last amended by Ordinance 459-23, Effective 2/15/2023

REVIEW PROCESS: This application constitutes an Insignificant Plat Amendment and will be processed in accordance with Art. 14.13.4.C of the LDC. 1) Plat Amendments involving only a boundary line adjustment: The Planning Administrator shall review the application in accordance with section 14.3 and make a final decision based on the approval criteria in this Article. 2) Plat Vacations and all other amendments: The Planning Administrator shall review the application in accordance with section 14.3 and make a recommendation to the City Council, which shall review at a public hearing and make a final decision based on the criteria in this Article
