Pursuant to established procedure and Idaho Statutes NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Driggs Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings at 60 S. Main St. in Driggs City Hall and virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 6:00 pm. There will be opportunity for the public to comment on public hearing items. Information on accessing the meeting and the agenda is available at DriggsIdaho.org and at City Hall. The hearing and meeting items are as follows:
Public Hearing SUB25-9: Tributary Stonefly Cabins—Preliminary Plat The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the preliminary plat application for the creation of 11 single-family cabin lots within a 5.46 acre parcel of the Stonefly Addition of Tributary. The 11 individual lots will be privately owned and range in size from 0.08 acres to 0.09 acres, totaling approximately 0.96 acres. Each lot is designed to include the footprint of a cabin and its associated detached golf cart structure. The remaining 4.50 acres will be designated as common or limited common area and maintained by a property owner’s association. These shared areas include open space, circulation areas, and two single-story parking garage buildings located on common property. The garages will provide a total of 11 enclosed parking stalls with storage and will also be owned and managed by the association. Further information regarding this application can be found online here: driggsidaho.org/projects/sub25-9
Public Hearing SUB25-3: Corona Valley Subdivision—Preliminary Plat The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the preliminary plat application for a phased 180-unit residential subdivision located on a 40-acre parcel on Ross Ave. The subdivision consists of 32 single-family detached lots and 148 attached two-family/townhome lots (total of 180 dwelling units). The phasing plan depicts four phases, with each phase designed to be fully independent in terms of streets, water, sewer, stormwater, and emergency access. The master plan proposes 10 new internal public roads. Southern access is shown as via Ross Ave, Eastern access via Booshway St, and Northern access via the newly approved Belle Vue subdivision’s Cowboy Trail via LeGrand Pierre. Further information regarding this application can be found online here: driggsidaho.org/projects/sub25-3
Public Hearing: AMD26-1 Floodplain Map & Ordinance Update The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider an updated Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance and the FEMA Flood Map Updates. The ordinance updates regulations for development in flood hazard areas, including permit requirements and construction standards, to reduce flood risks and protect public health, safety, and property. Adoption of the ordinance also maintains the City’s eligibility in the National Flood Insurance Program. Flood risk information is periodically updated as conditions change and mapping technology improves. In coordination with FEMA and state and county partners, updated flood maps reflect the best available data and more accurately identify areas of high, moderate, and low flood risk. These maps can affect development decisions, property improvements, and, in some cases, federal lending requirements for flood insurance.
