SUB21-8 Preliminary Plat
White Antler Subdivision
White Antler is a proposed subdivision containing 30 residences on Ski Hill Rd at Mountain Vistas Dr. The preliminary plat application indicates attached homes and townhomes on 4.57 acres, which access from Ski Hill Rd. The subject property was annexed into Driggs City Limits in March 2022, and assigned a zoning designation of RM-2 Residential Multifamily. The extent of the Design Review Overlay was maintained on the entire property. The Annexation Agreement contained special conditions requiring the owner to create a sidewalk along the length of the property on Ski Hill Rd, to submit a natural resources analysis with preliminary plat application, and to restrict 50% of the total units to ownership by Qualified Local Households, to be occupied by Qualified Local Households for at least 8 months per year, and to not allow short term rentals.
A Preliminary Plat Application was submitted in May of 2022. The proposed subdivision will be subject to the special conditions outlined above.
Driggs Planning & Zoning Commission reviewed the Preliminary Plat application at a public hearing on July 13th at 6:30 pm, ultimately moving to recommend approval of the application with the conditions and findings listed in the staff report, changing condition #9 to instruct the applicant to work with the City on supplying water to off-set the needs of the development.
City Council will review the preliminary plat application on August 16th, for possible approval of all phases. Each phase could then be built and apply for Final Plat independently.
