The City of Driggs helped create the Teton County Idaho Joint Housing Authority (JHA) , also known as Teton Valley Housing, and continues to work with the organization to support affordable housing opportunities for residents. Housing Programs and Development Initiatives

The City of Driggs has adopted incentives for affordable and workforce housing and sought to remove barriers to desired residential development. The Qualified Workforce Housing Incentive Program (QWHIP) was adopted in 2025 to encourage qualifying development that includes deed-restricted workforce housing. The City also supports housing options such as multifamily housing and accessory dwelling units.

The City of Driggs and Teton Valley Housing are committed to increasing the availability of affordable housing options for residents and are partnering on a number of significant projects (see https://tetonvalleyhousing.org/projects-programs ), including the Depot Square affordable apartments .

The City is working with the Karl Johnson Foundation to restart the Gemstone leased-lot subdivision, an initiative intended to provide affordable homeownership opportunities.
