PUBLIC HEARING & MEETING NOTICE
CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF DRIGGS, IDAHO
Pursuant to established procedure and Idaho Statutes NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Driggs City Council will hold a public hearing at 60 S. Main St. in Driggs City Hall and virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 6:00 pm. There will be opportunity for the public to comment on public hearing items. Information on accessing the meeting and the agenda is available at DriggsIdaho.org and at City Hall. The hearing items are as follows:
 Public Hearing ZC22-5: Zone Map Amendment
The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider a zone map amendment for the approximately 0.5-acre parcel (LOT 3 BLK 21Â DRIGGS TOWNSITE, RPA00140210030) to change the base zoning from RS-7 to RS-3.  Public Hearing ZC22-6: Zone Map Amendment
The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider a Zoning Map Amendment for the south 75 feet of Lot 7 and Lot 8, Block 5, Driggs Annex, owned by the City of Driggs along the north side of Teton Avenue between First Street and Second Street, to change the zoning designation from REC to RS-3 (single-family) for the purpose of constructing single-family homes for public agency employee rental. Public Hearing SUB22-9: Preliminary Plat & Final Plat Subdivision
The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the preliminary plat & final plat subdivision of a 21-acre parcel located at 411 S 5th Street (RPA5N45E363800) into 5 new parcels ranging in size from 3.62-acres to 7.55-acres. Public Hearing AMD22-3: Amendments to the Land Development Code
The City Council held a public hearing on January 3rd where they made a motion to continue the public hearing to the January 17th meeting to allow additional time for public comment. The proposed code amendments apply to street tree standards, landscaping & screening standards, and vegetative management standards.  Public Hearing: Amendments to the City Fee Schedule
The City Council held a public hearing on January 3rd where they made a motion to continue the public hearing to the January 17th meeting, to consider the inclusion of fines for the Damage or Destruction to a Protected Tree. The proposed amendments to the fee schedule would create fees for a Tree Removal Permit, Replacement Tree Fee-in-lieu, and a fine for Damage or Destruction to a Protected Tree.

 Written comments received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023, by mail at Driggs City Hall P.O. Box 48, Driggs, Idaho 83422, by fax to 208-354-8522, emailed to publichearingcomments@driggsidaho.org or by voicemail at 208-354-2362 ext. 1007 will be included in the staff report. Comments received after January 11 may be read into the record during the meeting. Verbal comments can also be presented at the public hearing. There will be no opportunity for remote commenting during this meeting.
